"Goldsmith for a Day in Florence": Create your own jewel with the Master Goldsmiths of Fàbera

EXTENDED PROGRAM

The doors of the Fàbera Atelier, located inside the multifunctional center of Manifattura Tabacchi, the former tobacco factory in Florence, open with the desire to take you "behind the scenes" of an ancient craft: the creation of precious handcrafted jewels using lost wax processing.

You will have an exclusive experience of approximately 2 hours in the world of Italian goldsmith craftsmanship thanks to the practical and theoretical support of Fabio, co-founder of Fàbera Jewelry and master goldsmith with over ten years of both national and international experience in high jewellery. An original gift for a birthday, a graduation, a special party or simply a treat for yourself.

This experience was created to raise awareness of lost wax processing; a sculptural technique which in jewelery is as ancient as it is current and is used to create and make a jewel unique. By sitting at Fabio's goldsmith's bench you will have the opportunity to discover and experience the goldsmith's art up close and under his careful guidance, you will carve, model and finish a piece of wax.

You will give life to a jewel of your choice between a ring, a pendant or a pair of earrings. During the approximately 2-hour workshop you will be given all the useful tools for working with wax, plus semi-precious colored gems that you can possibly add to your jewel. Once this experience is over, Fabio will continue with the next phase: the casting of the wax jewel in 925 silver and then its finishing so that it can be worn once ready!

PLEASE NOTE: This is because the wax jewel you created is nothing more than the "negative" of a metal jewel. In approximately 20 working days, Fabio will bring your jewel to life and it will be ready to be picked up in the Atelier or shipped to the address you indicated.

YOUR GUIDE / TOUR OPERATOR

During this experience you will be accompanied and supported by Fabio, master goldsmith of Fàbera Jewelry with over 15 years of national and international experience in fine artisanal jewellery.

NOTES

In order not to waste precious time during the 2 hours of workshop, already imagine what you would like to create between a ring, a pendant and a pair of earrings before coming to the Atelier. Take a photo, a drawing or save the jewel you would like to create and send it to hello@fabera.it before the experience so you can find everything you need for its creation.
Dress comfortably and if you have a background music playlist that you would like to listen to during the workshop, send it to us the day before

CANCELLATION POLICY: The total refund occurs if the workshop is canceled no later than 48 hours before the start of the workshop. The chargeback occurs on the card used for purchase within 5-10 days.
